Always a lover of design and aesthetics, I grew up immersed in the arts. I studied fashion in college and quickly realized that while I love the idea of the industry, the reality was quite disturbing. I worked in ethical fashion for a few years, but soon learned that I wanted to contribute something of my own. My interest in interiors blossomed and the idea to apply my knowledge and inspiration from fashion to interiors led me to start Pleasant Studio.

Sustainable

We consider our impact on people and the environment at every stage of the process from fabrication to packaging materials. A major focus of ours is using all natural fabrics such as wool, linen, and cotton.

Thoughtfully Designed

The Pleasant Studio design ethos is inspired by the beautiful details and high quality of vintage design with a fresh and modern spin. Our finishing details such as french seams and topstitching are virtually unheard of in the mainstream home goods market and set our pieces apart.

Handmade

Each and every item is cut, sewn, pressed, and packed with care in our studio in Tallahassee, Florida. Our made-to-order model allows us to not only prioritize quality but also reduce waste.
